And we have to follow them for a better future.
Following the new normal is one of the most law abiding disciplined and enthusiastic couple patient of ours.
Their discipline is also reflected in their dental condition and oral hygiene. Almost all of their natural teeth are present in their mouth even at this age. They drive on their own for almost 10 kms and always reach clinic on time.
He around 85 years, mentally and physically fit with no medical conditions; she around 80 years with medical conditions.
Both of them are elderly but young at heart. They always reach clinic on time for their appointment.
Even when regulations are increased due to Corona virus, they patiently listen to the instructions and follow them.
During first lockdown in the month of April, he experienced pain in his wisdom tooth. Initially we consulted him on phone for his pain and prescribed medicines. Pain recurred after some days.
After the availability of PPE, we asked him to come to clinic for further check up and x-ray. His wisdom tooth needed to be extracted so as to stop his pain. He understood the importance of treatment and readily agreed for the treatment.
They have been our patients since many years. They had faith that all precautions are taken in Happy Smiles Dental Clinic for patients’ welfare.
During latest lockdown in the month of July she started experiencing pain in her tooth.
We did teleconsultation and prescribed her medicines. But she required dental treatment.
They were aware of all the precautionary measures being taken in clinic.
So inspite of their age and lockdown, they came to clinic for her treatment too. Her treatment is still ongoing.
They both were relieved to be pain free.
We feel blessed to be of help to both of them. Patients like these motivate us to keep going and serve the society in this difficult Corona pandemic times.
