Tooth Replacement

Nobody likes to face the possibility of tooth loss, but it does happen. The good news is that whether you are missing a few teeth or facing the loss of all of your teeth, your options today are much better than they were in the past.

1.  Bridges

It’s hard to believe the impact that even one missing or damaged tooth can have on your life.

Eating all the foods you love may be more difficult or impossible. Your speech may also be affected. Your self-confidence starts to fade because you just don't feel like smiling openly when socializing.

At HappySmiles Dental Clinic, we understand the frustration of having to deal with damaged teeth because you just don't have time in your busy life to deal with one more problem. Fortunately, we offer options that will get your smile back in shape in no time.

Replace Missing Teeth with Fixed Bridges

Fixed dental bridges are restorations that consist of an artificial tooth (pontic) and fill the empty space left after the loss of a natural tooth. Bridges are designed as a single unit that includes the artificial tooth and held securely in place by crowns attached to neighboring teeth.

To create a customized bridge for you, we start by preparing the teeth where the bridge will be attached. Next, we'll take accurate impressions to form a mold of your tooth. This information is sent on to a respected dental lab where your restoration is crafted. A couple days later, you'll return to our clinic, and we'll adjust the bridge to ensure a perfect fit and a fully functioning tooth.

Dental Implants Add Stability to Dentures

Implant supported overdenture

A common complaint among denture wearers is the discomfort associated with movement of the denture. Patients often report that they are happy with the stability of their uppers but often have problems with their lower denture moving around because movement of the tongue can cause the lower denture to come loose.

If you are worried that this will be a problem for you, we can talk to you about using dental implants to secure your denture in place. We have helped many patients who are now happily enjoying the peace of mind and security of using implant-supported dentures.

1.  Complete Dentures and Partial Dentures

Are you having a problem with missing teeth or ill-fitting dentures that make it a challenge to eat your favorite foods and smile with confidence?

Do you need dentures but resist the idea because you think they'll look so obvious everyone will know you're wearing them?

At HappySmiles Dental Clinic, you don't have to worry because our updated dentures are designed to look completely natural and feel great!

Types of Dentures

  1. Complete Dentures: Complete dentures consist of an upper and lower plate and are appropriate when all or most of your teeth are missing.
  2. Partial Dentures: A partial denture is used if you have a number of missing teeth but enough left that we can attach to a partial.
  3. Cast Partial dentures:Cast Partial dentures are created from the most popular denture material in use, carefully handcrafted and cold-poured to the metal castings. Each one is unique and created just for you for the right fit. Using secure cast metal clasps that simply slide over your existing teeth, they can fill gaps securely and easily.

We want to provide you with the results you’re looking for, so before we start the process, we’ll talk to you about your expectations and how we can help you obtain the results you desire. We’ll work with you to find the right tooth shape, size, color, and positioning to bring out your most beautiful smile.
